Deadline: the latest time by which something must be done. June was a deadline month leading up to a 3 Woman Art Show at the Logan Fine Art Gallery. This painting:”Any Dream Will Do (The technicolor dream cape)” is a 24 x 36 inch oil that took up a chunk of the month.

I was wondering if there’s a way I could get more information about this art piece. It’s really great and I would love to know more about it.

Dear Rashel,
Thank you for your kind comment on “Any Dream Will Do”. It is a 24 x 36 inch oil on panel that sells for $4800. I also sell prints of the piece. If you are interested in those I can send you a list of sizes and prices. This piece is part of a series of paintings about children in various activities of play. Next to our home was a small hill that little boys coming home from school would stop on top of to survey the world. I dressed up this particular model with a multi-color cape and gave the painting a title that tied in with the broadway musical “Joseph and His Technicolor Dream Coat” as a way to address the fantastic dreams children have when they are young. Again, thanks for your comment.
